OPEN CALL FOR ART - apply by Sunday Feb 22

Two-Step Entry Process:  

1. Online Entry Form for the images and information 

You will upload photos of up to three entries

2. Pay Entry Fee - $40 covers all three entries

Checks are fine – just send us a note that you are sending one.

Notifications sent by email on February 24 to let you know which works are accepted to the show.

Drop off work:  Sat.March 7 noon-4:00 pm, Sunday March 8 noon-4:00, or by appointment.

Pick up work: Sunday April 26 noon-4:00 or backup date Saturday May 2 noon-4pm

EXHIBITION DATES: March 20 – April 25 2025

OPENING RECEPTION: Friday March 20, 6:00-9:00pm. Awards announced at 7:00pm


· Awards - Juror to be announced

o First Prize: $500

o Second prize: $350

o Third Prize: $200

o Three Honorable mentions: A gift certificate for $40 of Rosemary &Co Artist's Brushes


· All drawing, painting, and 2D mediums accepted. All work must be original, and has not been shown in previous Floral Exhibitions at Studio Pintura.

· If you are a student, you can be supported by a teacher, but the work must essentially be yours.

· No photographic or digital work for this show, please. 

· Maximum image size: 40" x 40" NOT including frame.

· Work must be framed, or have a finished gallery wrap, and ready to securely hang.

· All artwork must be available to sell during the exhibition dates.

· Artists agree to a Media Release and use of images for promotion of this exhibition.

· Artists are responsible for the shipping/delivery of their work to and from the exhibition gallery. If you are shipping work to us, please include a prepaid return label in your packaging. The work should arrive here by March 10.

Sales:            

Studio Pintura will handle all sales, and handle sales tax.
Payments to artists will be made by check within 15 days of the close of the exhibition.

Gallery Commission: 40%, with 60% going to the artist.

Ineligibility:
• Missed deadlines or an application that is incomplete or inaccurate will exclude entries from the exhibition.
• Artwork not properly represented by the original images submitted may be deemed ineligible.
• If your artwork becomes unavailable please send an email to have your entry withdrawn. The entry fee is not refundable.
